I recently went down to our local AT&T store to check out the new iPhone that has been in the news. After playing with the device I was sure that this was my next phone. I am not usually one to jump on the technology that has been just released but I must say the features and ease of use of this phone is incredible. My other question was since this is supposed to be internet friendly and we are able to watch YouTube videos how much extra were the services going to be. Luckily they have thought this part through and the iPhone has it’s own plans with unlimited web and email. The plans are comparable to their standard plans with just a few less minutes. But with their roll over minutes and the fact that everyone who I call that is on the AT&T network don’t count towards my minutes this make for a great buy.

For many people the American dream is to own your own home. These days there are hundreds of neighborhoods with spec homes that all start to look alike and creates a bland look. As the suburbs become more crowded the cost of finding a home has been rising and more people are looking further out and wanting to build their home. This is especially true in the Northwest as the quality of life is great and land is still relatively cheap. If you have the time and land then building your home and picking out your own plan can be a truly rewarding experience. You can find English Cottage House Plans or Small Ranch House Plans online at sites like HousePlansandmore.com. Here you can view various plans or even create your plans. You can enter the square footage, number of rooms, and bathrooms and search the site to find the exact specifications for your dream home.

We have been looking at land near a lake by where we live and I have always wanted to build a log cabin and have this home where we can go for family gatherings and vacations. We found a multitude of Log Cabin House Plans that can be found online and the selection is amazing with some great pictures of what the plan may look like. Our rustic cabin will have 5 bedrooms and approx. 3500 square feet with a huge log fireplace in the open family room. I would love to have the stone wall that encompasses the fireplace similar to ski lodge that you would see and create an ambiance of entertainment and relaxation.
When it comes to lighting to commercial establishments, it will definitely require more elaborate approach. Most of the people like the aquarium lighting because it will not only let you see the beauty of fish and plants. Whole the led christmas lights are being used to decorate the indoor, outdoor and Christmas trees.

I’m amazed to see all the homes and land that is now burning out in Southern California. All the technology that we have these days, you would think we would have a better way to put out these fires. When looking at a map of San Diego you see it situated in Southern California and a big piece of blue stuff out from it. That big blue thing you see is water! It’s the Pacific Ocean and why can’t we find some way to get that blue on over to the fires around San Diego?
I don’t have the answers, but you would think if we can send a man to space, cure all kinds of sickness, and can float a big carrier on the water, that we could find some type of pumping station, to get that water from the Pacific Ocean on the fires in California. I could understand better if these fires were in Kansas and they were having trouble with them there. It just doesn’t make sense when you see all that water right near my and we don’t have the technology to transport it to those hot spots in all these fires we are seeing on television. I do wish all the folks in California the best and my heart goes out to all of you. I couldn’t imagine by house burning down to the ground and losing everything inside of it. I just wish that we could spend a little more money on fire saving things, than sending another man to the moon or having something sent to Mars.

The heavy favorites in this year’s World Series is now leading by two games. The Colorado Rockies didn’t have anything for the Red Sox in game 1 and came up 1 run short in the 2nd game against the Boston Red Sox. Boston’s pitching has really been good and they just aren’t allowing the Rockies to put up any crooked numbers on the scoreboard. I’m still going to be rooting for the underdogs and see if they can get the bats going at Coors Field in this World Series.
This could be a special time in the Boston area. The Red Sox are 2 games away from winning the World Series, while the New England Patriots have looked unstopable. You factor that in with what the Boston Celtics have did during the off season by adding in Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen and the city of Boston might just be cheering for a long time. How nice it must be to live in Boston right now and being a hometown fan for all the teams. I’m not sure about the Boston Bruins, but if they win the Stanley Cup, we might all just have to move to Boston, so we can join in on all the fun!

The Cubbies play in the Cactus league during their spring training and to get Chicago Cubs Spring Training Tickets it is now very easy to do online. They hold their spring training down in Arizona which is always great weather for watching baseball, and we usually get a chance to meet some of the star players as they are more willing to sign autographs and talk with the fans. They have been playing and training at HoHoKam park in Mesa, AZ which provides a great facility for sports fans to view and interact with the Cubbies.
I just hope that this year we can continue the success and get off to a fast start. Coach Lou Pinella was brought in to make some changes, and get the team winning. He was able to take a and build a great Seattle team in the mid 1990’s and the hope that he still has some of that magic. If Kerry Woods stays healthy, and their bullpen can provide some relief the Cubs can push some of the top teams in the league.

Consumer marketing
In a bold move this Fall, Burger King will be offering Xbox games for sale in it’s franchised sotres. They will feature “King” the BK mascot and plan to sell for around $3.99 each. There are currently three titles. This presents a great opportunity for the Xbox system, as the massive exposure they will receive, plus it does not hurt BK. Now as you are playing your game, you will have the friendly reminder of BK somewhere in the corridors of the game.
This could do well for the younger audiences, in that they will put the pressure on Mom and Dad to get a an Xbox so that they can play their new games? Well, maybe a $3.99 game does not warrant purchasing a $300 gaming system. As PS3 deals with more delays, XBox is expanding the market.

We saw a blurb in the WSJ (Wall Street Journal) about a San Francisco court ruling on web postings. Since this site and many other blogs create and write about others creations I thought it was very timely. In a nutshell the California State Supreme Court reversed a ruling by the appeals court that finds individuals are generally immune from liability when publishing content that was written by someone else. So what does this mean? I am by no means a legal expert and the views expressed here are just that. Any questions about your content or that of others, please consult with your own legal counsel. There is a term that is used called public domain. So the theory is that if it exists and is general knowledge can you then recreate it or publish on your site or through any other forms of communications. In the case that was in question, the plaintiff had received some information via an email, and then published the identical content on forums. This does not however give away the rights of articles that are filed and protected under copyright laws. Many authors on blogs, and websites will publish their content. But fail to protect those intellectual rights by filing with the proper bodies.
