Credit Card Debt Consolidation and Credit Card Debt Help in 2008

November 28, 2007 - 12:36 am - Posted by Sherri R

I have been a big fan of Credit Card Debt Consolidation that are still available to consumers. We have used them to purchase large ticket items like furnishings and appliances for our new home. This has worked out well as we wait to close on our house and then once we receive the equity we will pay off those debts. We then payoff the balance once we receive our tax refund. If not managed properly it can lead to some bad financial decisions, but we only put things on our %0 interest credit card that we know we will have cash for in a few months

Find ways to improve to improve by combining high interest cards onto one lower interest rate. With the proper
Credit Card Debt Help you can save thousands and free extra cash that would have normally gone to the creditors. The important thing to remember is that you need to save the money that you are not spending on interest and put that money away.

Uma Gupta business consultant

Uma Gupta business consultant

There are many areas that businesses must focus on to stay competitive in the global market. Marketing and finance are two key drivers in any company but the people behind those results is what drives the success of the company. I had the opportunity to read an interesting article by Uma Gupta who is a expert in higher education helping businesses across the globe with such issues as regional economic initiatives, hiring across the organization and doing business in India. The piece that caught my attention was on diversity. In our organization we are striving to become more diverse without sacrificing business results. Uma Gupta brings out an interesting point that rings true that many managers sit through diversity lectures only to go back and say that this was not helpful and that they will hire the people that are the right fit for the job. The key is to define diversity as not only the gender, race, or ethnic background but also include in other attributes such as experience, knowledge, and talent. These are all traits of diversity that should be considered for any candidate and not just basing it solely on sex or race to fill a quota. Todays businesses are being asked to do more with less and having the right people in the right job is critical to staying competitive in this global landscape. Companies that can diversify based on the business and not to fill a human resources quota will be able to stay lean and agile as the market around them changes. As technology has made bringing people together for meetings and training much easier through advancements in webcasting workers must now possess the capability to work from remote areas in autonomy but still be able to contribute to the organization. And organizations must recognize this change in the workforce and be able to offer flexible benefits and work arrangements to attract the top talent.

Dr. Uma Gupta has written several books and writes for sites like cio.com for information technology systems. She is affiliated with many universities across the US and sits on boards to help businesses understand the culture of her native country India, and vice versa to help those in India to understand what it takes to do business with US based companies. She has also authored two major text books on information systems and technology and contributed to articles on the same subject. She is an expert in training, retention, and management issues and has been able to help organizations with corporations with hiring process and websites to understand any issues that could potentially stand in their way of recruiting top talent.

Searching for people you know

November 17, 2007 - 1:53 am - Posted by Sherri R

I found a cool new way to search for people on the web through a company called spock. It is a free information and people search engine that is similar to any major search engine that you may use except that the main results are people. You can search by name, gender, location, favorite sports team. This would be great for those that hate the Yankees and would like to find all those that have a Yankee attribute and let them know your feelings about the A Rod deal. What is even better that this is a shared community and these tags can be created by the person or other Spock community members.

Here is an example of the types of searches that can be done. You can search by those celebrities who have been arrested for drunk driving. Since a lot of actors like Paris Hilton and Keifer Sutherland have ended up in the news lately for driving while under the influence you can also see who else joins them for this distinction. I did a quick search for steroids since the indictment of Barry Bonds and surprisingly his name was not on the tops of the list but they had Rafael Palmerio. So whether you are trying to track down your best friend or doing research on people arrested for drunk driving spock has built a community just for you.

There are thousands of business opportunities available on the internet today. The trick is finding one that you are passionate about and can see yourself doing it for many years. the problem with most opportunities is that people will only try for a few months and when no real results are seen they give up and try another. This only creates a vicious cycle in which you can never win. Finding business opportunities can be easy and focused at BusinessOpportunity.com.

Improve your MySpace page

November 8, 2007 - 8:14 am - Posted by Sherri R

Get your Space seen

myspace layouts

So you have a MySpace account, and you have the generic white background. As you search around various MySpace accounts, you see a great selection of members who have customized their pages with different backgrounds, games, sounds and more. Being creative on MySpace and giving your friends and visitors a unique experience is the key to getting more MySpace friends.

If you are not tech savvy, changing the background is very easy. You can go to Market2MySpace and get all sorts of backgrounds and animations. It will generate a code that all you have to do is copy and paste into yourprofile page. Want to add your own background to your profile? It will even allow you to upload your own image and create the code for you. Well here you go! Just put the URL to the image, I recommend uploading your images.

Special offer if you read this and need help: If you need help with these customizations, I will help you for no cost, if you contact us and let us know you saw this on VoidClass.com.

If you want to add games for people to play to your site you can get those at Market2MySpace or Rogers eMall Games, and just paste the code that it generates into your About me section for your MySpace account.

A great way to keep people entertained on your profile is to put some games on. Seriously, who doesn’t like classic games? Pac Man, Duck Hunt, Snake.. You’d be crazy not to like them. To put a game on your Profile, simply copy/paste the code in the box below the corresponding game. Games work best if you put them in the About Me section of your page. Enjoy.

Find your apartment

November 2, 2007 - 3:02 pm - Posted by Sherri R

For many single young Americans buying a home may not be in the plans right when you get out of school. My wife got our first apartment right out of college and it allowed us to save up enough money to eventually purchase our first home. Many of us have looked through the want ads but one of the best resources to find apartments for rent is the Apartment Finder. A nationally recognized resource with an amazing website helped my sister-in-law and her husband find a great two bedroom apartment with all the amenities that they were looking for. You can see pictures and read about the location all in one location.

You can search by address, college, or other location that is more suitable to your immediate needs. This tools would have been great had we been able to use it when I was in college. We had to rely on a newspaper ad or drive around to different locations in order to find a suitable place. I even remember having to camp out overnight to get into the apartment that we lived in during our senior year. With apartmentfinder.com all those countless hours of searching can now be done in minutes. So whether you are looking for a place to rent for college or a newly married couple looking to start out your life you will find your next apartment at Apartment Finder online.

The flooring is the most important part of your business or home regardless of your life style. Flooring should be comfortable no matter it is garage flooring or room flooring. Most of the people love to go for vinyl flooring because it is bit easy to install it.
