When we moved into our new home the kids wanted to have a playset in our backyard so we decided to do some research into which type of playset would be best. We looked at some of the metal playsets and based on the accessories and durability went with a wooden set. There are so many options when it comes to wooden swing sets that it was a challenge to find the right accessories and type of wood we would use. Since many of the sets came pre-assembled this did help in picking and customizing our new playset and we added features such as a rock climbing wall and monkey bars so that the kids would not out grow the new playset to fast.

As men look to maintain their younger appearance they are turning to todays plastic surgeons. The statistics show that laser skin resurfacing increased by 115 percent between 2006 and 2007, and by 76 percent between 2000 and 2005. Some are looking to give them an edge even though they are in their mid-20’s while others are looking to improve their self image. Some have turned to acne treatment that can help tighten the skin and help reduce facial blemishes. A treatment that was once reserved for pure acne is now being used in various applications to help those that are young stay looking young.

We recently started to get bids on finishing our basement and the amounts that came back were quite surprising. While the amounts were vastly different the one common theme was that adding unique touches to the basement was common. One bid came back with the recommendation to put in bookshelves that would would blend into the wall that would give one room the option to be an office or a bedroom. We thought this was a great idea as it adds functional space and the overall increase and what you would get back if we ever sell would be doubled if we sold. Our thought was that based on the current environment that we can add additional living space at a great value for future investments.

I was watching one of the latest previews for this falls realtiy TV shows and it will feature workers that have to work on the worlds toughest building projects. If you have ever watched the Discoveries channel features on some of the modern marvels today you understand the danger and planning that goes into these large projects. They are using industrial clamps that would amaze most of us. These are not the clamps that would you find in your garage and can hold several tons of steel and concrete. There has to be a limit on these types of reality shows because they are running out of ideas.

With the popularity of Dancing with the Stars more people are taking up dance as a way to stay in shape and socialize. The show originally appealed to a small audience when it was first introduced and then once they started to bring on some of the bigger names in sports and some of the drama that happened in the past shows it has turned this show into a hit. This has caused an increase in Dansko shoes or other similar dance wear that is sure to stay around for a few years. Besides, what other show can match up a washed up TV star and a NFL great and turn into entertainment.

Have you ever wondered what chain of events led to the introduction of the cigar that you now hold in your hand. It began almost 500 years ago that started with Christopher Columbus throwing caution to the wind and prove that there was more to the world than the scholars thought and that it really was round. So in 1492, he found success, along with the discovery of a new trade commodity in the new world called tobacco.
After a few centuries the next turn in the history of the cigar came about in the mid 1700’s when the infamous Catherine the Great introduces the concept of the cigar band. She would smoke cigars so often that the tar from the tobacco would stain her fingers leaving a brownish colored stain. In order to avoid this, she had a paper band designed so she could hold her cigars without the staining her fingers or irritating the skin.
Today many of the major brands started to create a niche for themselves. Many of those are Romeo y Julieta, Cohiba, Partagas, H. Upman, Montecristo, and Sancho Pancza just to name a few. These premium cigars have set the bar and transformed the cigar that we have come to know and enjoy. There have been some of the makers that have introduced flavored cigars to attract a younger crows and to help attract the female consumer.
Today we enjoy a wide variety of cigars from all over the world. The art of smoking a cigar has prompted various cigar bars across the country where you can have your own private humidor to relax and enjoy.

A few months back I was watching the news and saw that Linsday Lohan wants to celebrate her next birthday in Las Vegas. This after she was just released from drug rehab. She stated that she wanted to learn how to gamble and try something new for birthday. This poor girl has tried more new things in her than most people do in a lifetime and she certainly shows the toll that this has taken on her body and face. She may want to rethink her location as Las Vegas is known as Sin City for a reason. It seems that hotels in las vegas have been the point of interest of many celebs in the news from OJ Simpson to Lindsay Lohan, but their focus has been on the families and attracting other customers outside of those that are just there for gambling.

You and you significant other have been together for a while and you deserve some together time! Why not take a vacation that lets you focus on each other and let some one else take care of the details. At all inclusive resorts you are totally taken care of from the food, activities, to tips. All you have to worry about is what time you would like your drinks on the pool deck. You can find Vegas vacations that feature resorts where all your needs are met. There are all-inclusive resorts that cater to couples who are on their honeymoon or celebrating their anniversary.

With the Christmas season just around the corner now is the time to start thinking about those special loved ones on your list. Most of the big name retailers have a presence online and this has really set the standard for shopping. This could be because consumers like the safety net of buying online and then being able to return to a brick and mortar business. This will be more evident this year because of rising fuel costs that more force some avid shoppers to more of their shopping online instead of driving from store to store. So looking for that perfect cat clock for Aunt Sherri will be a little less stressful with just a click of the mouse.

Many of the players that are in the tournaments today get there by playing in an online casino tournament and getting their seat for free. Online gambling has taken off since the televised WSOP and more people are coming online to perfect their skills and have a shot at these million dollar tournaments. Who doesn’t want their own Public Access TV Show. They currently archive over 6 million files so you are bound to find that episode or music video you are craving from the 1980’s. So no need to update your tv furniture as you wonder back in time. I wonder if they have any WhiteSnake? I guess I will have to join and find out
