For our Daughters birthday we got her a simple digital camcorder that she could use to capture clips with her friends. It has turned out to be one of the best presents that we have gotten because her and her friends have gotten creative and are now shooting their own music videos. With the upgraded micro sd card which now holds about three hours of video they lip sync to some of the more popular songs like Poker Face from Lady Gaga which is quite good and funny at the same time. They are hoping to get a few of these uploade to Youtube so that they can share with all their friends at school.

We recently had our basement finished and were looking for ideas for our flooring that would be creative and functional. I loved the idea of having hard wood floors, but in the basement our only option was the engineered flooring that looks pretty close. We found some area rugs that we could lay over the top in our entertainment area that would bring out the rustic wood color in our baseboards while still showing off the flooring and it turned out quite nice. The idea was to have a simulated hard wood look without making the basement to cold and the area rugs were just the right touch.

We were looking online and saw a great deal on Vegas vacations that started at $149 for a three day/two night stay at the Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas. We were looking for a short get away to somewhere warm and this might be the ticket. Las Vegas has so many options for famliys and with our three kids they would love to ride on some of the roller coasters that are featured at some of the hotels. There are some great shows that are kid friendly like the Blue Man Group which I would love to see in person. Today many Americans are looking for new ways to supplement their income by trying to sell stuff online. This demand has increased as the economy still remains shaky and there are still companies laying off workers. Many people will look to try and sell stuff online through sites like eBay and Craigs List. While selling your personal stuff may get you some additional cash you will not be able to attract a larger market. This is where you can search and find items like wholesale computers that you can bid on buy for really cheap and then start to create a nice new revenue stream. Now this is not for everyone and you must do your research to see what items are selling before making your purchase. If you are smart about your purchases you can actually do quite well on these online auction sites and even compete with the big boys.
