It does appear the recession is over now. Many are seeing signs of growth in so many areas and the numbers do suggest that our recession ended last month in April. The government is still trying to encourage people to think green by offering incentives to use energy efficient light bulbs and household appliances. I saw one housing support article at Homes Tips Plus about using salt to go green and save energy. This was also seen with the “cash for clunkers” where the government was trying to get some of the gas hogs off the road and help the auto industry. I know a lot of people are still feeling it in May and nothing drastic is going to happen anytime soon. The housing market is looking to rebound and this will be the sector of the market that leads us to stability in the financial sector. People will still have a tough time in the job market and this is where the White House can play a key role.
We need the politicians on Capitol Hill to do whatever it takes to create more jobs. We have too many jobs going over seas right now and this isn’t good for our economy at home. Creating more jobs will boost sales in the retail sectors of the Market and eventually lead to more spending across the board. New home buyers are getting big tax breaks right now and that’s good to see. I think the White House is assisting in our recovery from the recession, but they do need to follow this up with more jobs.
