It appears that people are keeping their travel plans simple this year as RV rentals have seen an increase this past summer. I know that where we live we have seen about 4 times as many rented RV’s than we have in the past as people are looking to go to the lake or mountains during their vacation. This has spurred an increase in roadside assistance plan solutions as campers are looking to protect their rental fees in the event of an accident. This is different than renting a car because you are dealing with a much larger vehicle and this type of vehicle is something most people do not have much experience driving and there greater blind spots that you have to watch out for.

I do not have a real high end watch like the Ulysse Nardin which I just found online. With so many different styles and makers of watches it can be tough to stand out in the crowd with your watch. I was unaware of this maker of fine watches and what exactly quality time pieces look like. A new class of wrist watch to me and maybe many of those that read my blog. They have a wide selection of mens watches for both business and casual.

We recently had the chance to watch a Seattle Sounders game live with a bunch of friends. We were up in the 100 level which is not bad and the crowd was amazing. The Sounders fans are some of the best in the MSL and there is always some chant going on during the game. Being up above the field we had a great view but took a pair of binoculars with us to really see down on the field and what was happening on the bench. One such binocular maker is Kowa who make various types for sporting events and just casual observing. There are probably numerous makers of binoculars and some that are even digital ours served their purpose and the game was a blast.

LED lights will last on the average of 50K hours nearly twice as long as traditional lights and use about 1/10th of the energy. The main thing I like about these new lights is that they last twice as long, are more durable because they do not rely on the filament which can be a major cause of why many lights burn out quicker. Plus led christmas lights appear to be less reliant on an entire circuit like traditional holiday lights so if one does go out it does not take out the whole string. So this year after you have had the turkey dinner and you are thinking about dragging out the boxes of Christmas lights that you have kept around for years, why not save yourself some time and money and upgrade to the latest LED lights that will be sure to get the attention of your neighbors and make for a spectacular Christmas display.

We just came into the market for a new digital camera, since our 9 year old dropped our 3 year old Olympus 400. Now all we get are zoom errors and the shutter cover will not close. It was a 3 MP camera and the features and picture was quite slow compared to today’s standards. So in our search and through some of my online adventures I found this nice place to get some reviews on Digital cameras online. With the advancements in camera technology you can always find a great <digital camera reviews on a new camera. With all the various models that they have to offer we were able to compare the various models and find one that would best suit our needs.

Watching the sports news today, I saw how easy going the coaches and others in Minny are taking the Brett Favre news. I don’t think they’re this comfortable if they really didn’t know. You have the spring drills coming up and the NFL draft too. Favre will not be there for the spring workouts the Vikings have planned out for this year. Nothing unusual there and many teams let their star players or 1st string players skip these spring practices. On the draft side of things, you want to know who your team is and hopefully don’t have too many contracts to sign. It would be nice and I am sure that teams are using a digital signature for those players that are in contract limbo in order to speed up the process. This helps the general manager and others to draft the very best players or positions on the field. Although a quarterback is ready to step-in, if Favre does retire, this still creates back up QB questions and roster spots. A good GM would want to know before draft day; if Brett Favre is staying or going.
I think Brett made up his mind early this time. In the past years, he really did need the time to decide and even after saying “yes“, he still wasn’t sure. May be a doubt or two floating around now, but I see him committed already and I believe he has let the Minnesota front office know this. Brett likes to have fun, so I expect him to milk this thing out as long as possible. A couple of TV commercials have already been made about his last minute decisions. Not to mention a few ESPN sketches too. Relax Viking fans and relax Brett Favre fans, your QB will be trying it one more time.
I think Brett should stop trying to decide if he wants to play or not. I think he should just show up and keep playing until he reaches the point he can’t play or decides that’s enough. I don’t think this decision should ever be made in the off-season. When it’s time for him to quit, I hope it’s game 2 in preseason or game 6 in the regular season. Then Brett and football fans everywhere, will know Brett played every quarter of football he wanted to in the National Football League.

So many people have their eyes looking heavenward, dreaming of exotic locations in far flung reaches of the globe. The reality for some is that some of the most interesting or beautiful things the earth has to offer are often as nearby as your backyard. This statement is a truth of the United States of the America. A melting pot of people, cities, and environments all waiting to be experienced, you don’t have to travel far to travel well. The East coast is teeming with important landmarks from New York City, to Boston, to Washington D. C., and even Cape Canaveral Florida. These places represented the roots of a nation, the pinnacle of American sophistication, and the starting point for space travel. There are just as impressive places within the West coast, one of which being San Francisco. To experience it once is to want to experience it again. Make the best of your accommodations by researching Pier 39. This pier is full of shops and activity at almost all times, but it is also in proximity to a number of other attractions as well as being the place to get onboard for around the bay tours, or tours going to Alcatraz.
But why limit yourself to what is considered a tourist trap? Just down the way and near Ghirardelli Square there is another pier which houses a fantastic attraction called the Museum of Mechanical Wonder. These wonders include a smorgasbord of carnival games from the early 20th century that you can still play!
Also nearby is the famous Ghirardelli Square where you can imbibe some of the best chocolate treats in the country while catching some impressive street musicians. A short cab ride away can find you in Chinatown eating dim sum or shopping for curios.
From the Mission to Golden Gate Park there are so many sites, neighborhoods, and attractions to behold. Visit the tourist areas, but also be sure to ask locals for their favorite hidden gems and hot spots. You can turn your visit to the San Francisco Bay as a time to play house by looking for San Francisco vacation rentals.

I heard on the news today that in America we spend close to $150 million dollars a day on diet products and solutions. I would assume that diet pills make a large portion of that total because of the increasing number of products that appear to be on the market. Imagine if we spent that same amount of money on providing better access to gyms and exercise programs what the result on the long term impact could be. I find it amazing what people will spend their money on when they have the internet at their disposal.

The dolphin fish that swims around the Hawaiian Islands is where mahi mahi comes from. Mahi mahi is an Hawaiian word and we get the name of this tasty fish from Hawaii. Now the dolphin fish is quite different from the dolphins you may be thinking about. The dolphin fish is not related to the dolphin mammal and the dolphin fish is really a fish. I’m sure you can educate your friends on this the next time your in the restaurant ordering mahi mahi. Let them know they are eating dolphin and see what type of reaction you get from them. I don’t think any of us would want to eat the beautiful bottle nose dolphins. Now the dolphin fish is another story and this is one of the best eating fish you can catch out of the oceans today. Give mahi mahi a try and let me know what you think. I usually order a couple of slices of lemon with my mahi mahi and squeezing lemon juice over freshly grilled mahi mahi is a heavenly taste!

Halloween is about a month away and that means it’s time for dressing up in costumes and stocking up on the candy for the kids. I always loved Halloween as a kid and now enjoy all the scary movies that come on during the Halloween season. There were certain types of candy that I like getting better than others. A nice tootsie roll, jolly rancher, or any candy bar was a welcomed treat as a trick or treater. I wasn’t a big fan of the apples some people tried to hand out each year at Halloween. I know when me and my friends were trick or treating into our teen years, we would just use the apples to throw back at the houses they gave them to us. So even though you would like to see our youth eating better these days, Halloween is not the time to spread your message. The kids want candy and this is something every homeowner should buy for the kids on Halloween night.
I look forward to watching the scary movies that will come on this year. All of the Halloween movies with Michael Myers are great and these movies will still be popular 50 years from now. The Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies are good too and you will see some of them on TV this Halloween. For those of you that have the Movie Channel on your cable or satellite subscriptions can see horror movies every Saturday night. The Movie Channel has a thing called Splatter Day on Saturday and they feature 2 horror movies every Saturday night. I have Dishnetwork and you can find The Movie Channel on channels 329 and 330. Check out these two channels on Dish Network for the Splatter Day on Saturday movies. I have two movies recorded on the DVR from last Saturday’s double feature from the Movie Channel and I will probably watch them tonight. There are ton of dish network deals that you can grab now and be ready for the upcoming scare fest. I don’t watch horror movies in the daytime, it must be night time for me to see a horror movie. It spoils all the fun watching horror movies during the day. Although the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a good horror movie that started it’s killing during the daylight hours; you typically see horror movies doing all of their action during the night time.

So now move into the latest Windows product and we currently have Windows 7 on most new Asus computers that you will go buy now. Currently there isn’t a lot of positive talk about Vista and I believe it has to do with it being new and you have to do things in a new way to effectively use the new Windows 7. They are young people right now getting a chance to learn about computers for the first time and these people are learning via the Windows 7 way. So give them a few years to get use to things and when Windows releases its next new program to the market, many of these folks will be saying how Windows 7 was the best ever. I have had a chance to use the Windows Vista and for the most part you can figure it out pretty easily. They are some differences from it and earlier versions of windows. I think in time many of these new changes will be for the good and I believe the Windows 7 product will survive. Don’t be afraid to get Windows 7 on the next computer you decide to buy, because it is still a quality product that makes using the computer on the World Wide Web so much better!

Corey Haim also had an innocent start in Hollywood with one of his early movies called Silver Bullet. The 1985 movie Silver Bullet was one of my favorite Corey Haim movies. I have seen this movie about a dozen times and even as an adult now, I still like to watch this one. Corey plays a crippled kid in a wheelchair, but wait until his uncle Red (Gary Busey) fixes up that wheelchair. I don’t know anyone that didn’t like to see Marty (played by Corey Haim), his sister and actor Gary Busey as Uncle Red take on a werewolf. This is one of Stephen King’s best movies and it’s a must-see for anyone who hasn’t ever seen Silver Bullet with Corey Haim.
He played in about a dozen other movies and also had a reality TV spot in 2007. The reality show was called The Two Coreys and he was once again paired up with his good friend Corey Feldman. Which Corey Haim movie or movies did you like best?
Corey Haim was one of the good guys. For anyone that grew up in the 1980′s, you could see Corey Haim on all the TV channels and on all the covers for the teen magazines. He was a big 80′s teen idol and there weren’t many that were bigger than Corey Haim, if there was any. All the guys wanted to be him and the girls wanted to be with him. He was certainly one of the teen legends from the 1980′s; in which that decade produced so many teen idols in both male and female variety. You can talk about Michael J. Fox, Kirk Cameron, Corey Feldman, Scott Baio, and all the other popular ones and Corey Haim was right up there with them all. The female teen idols from the 1980′s like Nicole Eggert or Alyssa Milano was also good friends with Corey Haim. Alyssa Milano was “Sam” on Who’s the Boss and I saw earlier on CNN News where they was showing a quote from her on her Twitter page in regards to the passing away of Corey Haim.

In most homes the living room is the one place that gets the most use simply because this is where the TV and stereo is kept. So having functional living room that can serve as a place to socialize as well as relax can be a challenge. You can simply design furniture that will fit your space and provide the functionality that will best serve your living space. By that I mean what type of furniture do you place in your living room such as more formal pieces or more casual so that you can hang out and just relax. We have placed leather couches and chairs in our living room and they have held up very well while offering comfort and appeal. Many people that we know will actually move the pieces around or even have a more seasonal look to their living room which makes sense. So when you are in the Spring and Summer months you may want to have lighter colored furniture and slightly more durable since you and the kids will be in out of the home more often and typically inviting their friends over. In the fall you can have that leather sofa with darker tones and accent pieces as you spend more time indoors and are more likely to hold dinner parties.

June is turning out to be a sports enthusiast dream. With the World Cup soccer tournament getting underway with some great early match-ups, the NBA championships going to game 6, and Baseball turning up the heat as teams get ready to make a run for the playoffs many people are watching for fun while others are betting on their favorite teams. The World Cup has started with some slight upsets with the latest one coming today with Italy coming away with a tie with Paraguay. Italy is the reigning world soccer champion and they were expected to make it out of the first round with ease and make it to the quarter finals. I am sure there are some avid Paraguay fans that put some money for their team to cover the spread and take the tie made some money. The same could be said for those who placed bets that the Boston Celtics would take the series past a game 5 when a lot of betters were already crowing the Lakers World Champions.

There are was a a site about noxycut reviews where we had a chance to check out some of the latest diet pills. We had a chance to check out the product and most of the ingredients seem to have validity. What this pill offers that many on the market do not is the ability to help you lose weight with a range of solutions in one pill. Many of the diet pills that are on the market today are just loaded with caffeine and maybe one other ingredient. This could prove helpful for those that have tried other weight loss pills and not had much success.

No need to worry if you have a little acne that needs taken care of. I think the natural acne treatment that is available today is much better than when I was a kid growing up. Medicine as a whole improves every day and this is no different with acne creams and medicines. They are so much more advance and more products to choose from too. Just remember that acne for young people is a part of growing up and it’s one of the last awkward stages we face before adulthood. You might have the acne this week, but I’m sure one of your friends or classmates will be the one stuck with the problem next week!
