Have you noticed that all the cell phone commercials these days are touting video, MP3, and other internet options. Many of the providers promise everything you need for one low price and this is actually not the case. Now many of the companies are offering unlimited talk, text, and internet for one low price. They have gotten most of us Hook, line and sinker  with their unlimited plans with all that small print that if you go over a certain amount you actually will pay more. Whatever happened to the day of making a good phone with great reception? While the technology is impressive, I think the makers of cell phones have forgotten their core product and that is a phone that you can actually talk on. Too many phones today like the popular iPhone and Android phones have been reported to get bad reception, and unclear communications. With all the attention of the iPad and tablets the world of books and magazines are changing for the better. Slowly but surely schools and academic institutions are implementing this new technology in order to help their students learn better and provide more relevant and up to date content. For example, my daughter who is in 7th grade takes some advanced math and computer classes. When I help with her homework some of the content when it comes to computers is so outdated and the learning format for math is just repition and teaching very little real world application. Her teacher will provide handouts that supplement the textbooks to try and provide some newer content. If the teachers were able to tap into technology that allowed them to do their own textbook customization and then provide to that their students in either a printed or digital format so that the students could then choose the best way for them to learn would be amazing.

If you can go to the Oregon coast during September, October and November you can do some good fishing. You may want to check out the fishing forum at Outdoor base Camp in order to find some helpful tips and tricks. It’s just something about the fall season and the Pacific Ocean that makes fishing great. If you like to go deep sea fishing; then I would recommend an October trip around the Seaside, OR area for some really great fishing. I won’t be making a trip down to the Oregon Coast this year to fish, but I would like to be in a position later on in life; where I make trips to Cannon Beach, Astoria, and Seaside to go fishing during the fall seasons. I’m sure the people that live around these areas in the Pacific NW love to fish in October as much as I do and some might even be living there just for the great fishing they can do.
