With all three major game system maker cutting their prices the competition will become fierce for those customers who are looking for a new system. The xbox slim and Playstation 3 have been playing catch up to the Wii in regards to number of units sold. The game makers rely on total units being sold so that people will purchase their games. I have noticed that some retailers are starting to offer special incentives such as gift cards, or added accessories for the xBox 360 in order to gain that customer traffic in hopes that they will then purchase the game titles from them. The holiday should be great for those who are looking to upgrade their current gaming system or adding to their collection.
