I guess the way we use to find things in the old days is to try and get as close as we could to our desired destination and then stop at a convenience store or gas station and ask for the final details. Directions for going places are now much better than those days. You might not get a lot of help from the gas stations anymore anyways, since chances are the person working there might not speak English. People can use their gps map and find some of the popular places online to search for directions.
