We just completed basement and one of things that I really wanted was a nice looking home theater system with the surround sound and nice looking plasma tv. We looked at several TV stands and found one that blends the blu ray home theatre system into the rest of the decor and is sometimes referred as a floating stand. The dark glass stand has three shelves and there is a post that comes up in the back that the TV attaches too and all the cables are threaded through this post to DVD player and other components. That with the speakers embedded in the wall the whole system fits the room without looking out of place. We have gotten several comments and questions on where we got the stand so it looks like we made the right choice and our basement came out just as we expected.
