Upgrading your furniture

Look anywhere on TV and you will find some variation of a home improvement show. What started out about 10 years as Trading Spaces which was a show where neighbors traded homes to improve and update one room in each others home to shows like Extreme Makeover. This has created a renewed interest in homeowners looking around the home to see what they can update. For many the new modern furniture that is featured looks great but you always wonder where they get the items.
It has provided my wife and I new ideas on things that we can do to update some of our rooms and purchase new contemporary furniture. The new furniture is more modular meaning that you have more options of being able to mix and match pieces to really create a unique living space. I love the functionality that the new modern furniture provides in that there is more usable space in the room because the pieces are not overbearing and do not take over the room.
