This new technology will not only be able to increase the bandwidth and offerings of mobile phones, but will help to provide broadband access to parts of the country and the world that would not have been accessible before. Since a communication company can simply install a WiMax based facility or router, they no longer have to string cable to customers houses. The new technology will make interactive video and games more of a reality and some phone companies are already making Wi-Max enabled phones.
